eaglefan538 (2355), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Apr 24, 2008 Bottle from SL. The pour was full red-amber, excellent initial head, ok retention, solid lacing. The aroma was full caramel and floral hops. The flavor was a hearty caramel malty base (with an almost gritty texture, hearty indeed), ample hops, floral and pine most prominent, but fruity citrus elements in there too. A decent brew, but too pricey to seek out again here in the States. cheeta (858), Langå, Denmark Apr 23, 2008 Heavy hoppy aroma. Huge, creamy, white head. Excellent lacing. Fully lasting longevity. Clear orange body. Heavy acedic initial flavor with flower notes in and a long finish duration. Medium palate. nimbleprop (819), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA Apr 22, 2008 12oz bottle pours a translucent reddish, copper amber with a sudsy, lacing white head. Aroma is extremely hoppy, strong lemon and pine with a malt backing lurking behind the hop resin. Flavor is heavy on the citrus fruits, spicy with plenty of pine and resin on the tongue. Finish is obviously bitter, but the mild sweetness also comes in at the very end. This is a nice IPA, but considering what I paid ($5.29), I think I’ll stick to the cheaper local micro IPAs that give me the same bang for less buck. ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark Apr 21, 2008 Hazy amber with a bubbly off-white head. Classic citrus hop aroma. Sweetish with a sharp hop bite and a pine hop finish. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA Apr 20, 2008 Bottle. Amber brown body under a durable tan head. Flavor is more malty then hoppy with a candy like sweetness. Interesting mintiness. sfhodense (554), Odense NØ, Denmark Apr 20, 2008 Bottle. Reddish brown with beige head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of citrus. Aroma is hoppy, grape, citrus and some pine at the end. fishingnet (1045), Brandon, Florida, USA Apr 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a one finger lasting off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is loaded with floral and citrus hops with a hint of sweet malt and caramel. Taste is the same as aroma just not as prominent. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Very good. EHSRanders (1121), Randers C, Denmark Apr 17, 2008 Bottle. Hazy amber colour with large creamy white fully lasting head. Hoppy aroma with notes of flowers. Bitter flavor and finish. Creamy palate.
