| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 17, 2009 Rating number 500. Dark amber pour with excellent one finger off white head. Very nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and grassy notes with some floral characteristics as well. Quite pronounced and multi-faceted in its hop character. Sweet malt comes through to create a nice balance, but only barely. Flavor is an excellent balance of bready and caramel malts, with a powerful kick of grassy and floral hops. Citrus character is not as pronounced, but is still noticeable. Full bodied palate with mild carbonation and a surprising cream like texture. Very well put together. An excellent example of a great style. craftycarl21 (529), South Hero, Vermont, USA
