Commercial Description:
Corne du diable (French for "Horn of the devil") is a contemporary interpretation of the classic English India Pale Ale. This new style, born on the west coast of North America, is characterized by stronger and hoppier beers. The result is a red ale expressing caramel flavours coming from the malt, sharp bitterness and powerful hop aromas, thanks to dry hopping.

Bottle split with Pat. Pours a hazy reddish brown body with small white head. The aroma is Southern Tier Mokah - didnt clean my glass out enough. Taste is smooth, delicious well-balanced hop.

Another old rating. Aroma was of some citrus hops and a little biterness to this one. A solid beer but not that great of an IPA.

Bottle. Pours a murky orange with a very small head and massive pine and resin aromas with a little pineapple and brown sugar. Flavor is a little too brown sugary sweet and finished with crisp conifer forest and alcohol notes.

Pours a hazy dark amber with a off white head. A sweet malt with a strong caramel toffee nose. Taste is about the same with a good bitter front. A very unique take on an American IPA. The caramel notes in the nose and taste were very unexpectied yet very welcoming. I like how this beer is different from what I thought I was going to get.

Pours a really nice deep orange color with a thin off white head. Aroma is toasted malt, a little citrus, some biscuit smells. Flavor is a little hoppy but more on the sweet malty side with a hint of toast and bread. Kind of yeasty. Not overly bitter, and maybe a bit more towards the English style of things. Interesting beer.

12 ounce bottle in tulip. Pours golden haze with a large beige head. Very unique aroma with some complex things going on, a good amount of pine a hint of citrus and a good base of roasted malts. Drinks similarly with a good smooth drink yet lots of complex thing going on and very well balanced.

Pours amber with a half inch beige head and a piney hop aroma. Flavor is sweet up front with a bitter hop assault and dry finish.
