Commercial Description:
Corne du diable (French for "Horn of the devil") is a contemporary interpretation of the classic English India Pale Ale. This new style, born on the west coast of North America, is characterized by stronger and hoppier beers. The result is a red ale expressing caramel flavours coming from the malt, sharp bitterness and powerful hop aromas, thanks to dry hopping.

Bottled at Haket, Gothenburg. Deep amber with a creamy, tan head. Soapy, grassy, flowery aroma. Loads of fruits and flowers in the flavour. Balanced and late bitterness.

Bottle at Haket, Göteborg. Deep amber color, very nice lasting offwhite head. Fruity aroma, hops, apples, peach, tropical fruits, milky and creamy notes. Fruity, hoppy flavor, fruits, apples, peach, grass, and metal notes. Grapes and fruitsd and hops in the finish. Very nice body. One of the best IPA I ever have tried.

Bottled. Thanks to Anders Holmskär. Deep amber colour. Great hoppy aroma from tea, along with a bit of woody notes. Superb hop flavour with good bitterness and a bit of caramel. Woody, big, longlasting hop bitterness. Medium bodied.

BNottle poured a hazy copper with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, pine, orange peel and a hint of grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthjiness, light pine and light orange peel with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

On cask at the brewpub. Pours a slightly cloudy dark orange-copper with a large lasting bubbly off-white head -- looks fantastic! The aroma is all hops baby! A gorgeous mix of citrus and earthy hops -- so fresh and juicy smelling. The flavour is pure liquified hops but somehow it’s in no way too hoppy, it’s just right for this hophead. It goes down incredibly easy and has a huge dry and very bitter aftertaste. Great body for a cask. This is, to put it simply, a fantastic cask IPA!

341 mL bottle received via trade with Glouglouburp. Pours reddish brown with a large, creamy, off-white head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, straw), heavy hops (perfume, pine, grapefruit), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apples. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and heavy bitterness.

Hazy amber beer. Fruity aroma. Dry hops, lots of lovely fruit, some Belgian style sourness. A great beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours a lightly hazy ruby/orange/amber with a large foamy/bubbly off white head that left a bunch of sticky lacing. Aroma of caramel, light citrus, pine, some tropical fruits noted, kind of reminded me of Stone 10th in terms of aroma. Flavor of caramel, toffee, lots of hops, some nuts, pine, floral notes a little earthy along with a bunch of citrus notes. Boy those are some hoppy burps!
