Commercial Description:
Corne du diable (French for "Horn of the devil") is a contemporary interpretation of the classic English India Pale Ale. This new style, born on the west coast of North America, is characterized by stronger and hoppier beers. The result is a red ale expressing caramel flavours coming from the malt, sharp bitterness and powerful hop aromas, thanks to dry hopping.

Reddish-amber. Bright. Rich chewy, very woody hop aroma. Full mouthfeel, woody, dry hopping with a rich, earthy, caramelly character. Rich brown sugar. Clean, rich bitterness.

Beautiful red-amber color, bright; the head reduces quickly, but leaves behind a sticky lace. It has a winderful hoppy aroma, with resins, a bit fruity and a touch of vanilla too. Unfortunately the sugars all all gone; there is a strong caramel and toffee flavor and a very strong bitterness, with some good oils; the final is very long. Good, but why wasting so much hop and forgetting the body?

Hazy red amber. Hoppy fruity nose with light caramel. Flavor is a bit disapointing. The aroma leads up to more. Mild fruity and hoppy. Finishes bitter.

(33cl bottle) Small beige head atop clear, dark amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/floral, caramel, some grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/orange, some caramel, nectarine/mango, light bread. Soft medium body with light acidity. Seems more like a hoppy amber than an IPA, though it’s quite tasty however it’s categorized.

Bottle at Orsted Olbarog. Cloudy brown, lasting beige. Hoppy, bit of acidity. It’s ok, good hop on finish. Hot hop not a lot of good malts. not a great DIPA. Not enough malts to underpin the hops.

Clear amber color, small beige head, lace. Piney, ryeish fruity hoppy nose. Pale malty, very bready hoppy, bitter flavor. Very IPA-like, malty pale ale. Long bitter aftertaste.

Beautiful, dark red copper with a huge, nice, creamy and lasting head. The aroma is nicely hopped with notes of oranges and other citrus fruits, mango, spruce and a little caramel. The flavour is nice and fruity with a dry citrussy bitterness and notes of over ripe oranges, mango, caramel and hints of resin. The body is nice and full and the finish is long and slightly dry. A nice one!
