Deep amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is a heavy earthy hoppiness, caramel, dried fruit, toffee- very sweet aroma. Taste is a light fruitiness, faint hops, light alcohol, caramel. Not sure if the date on this bottle but I’m guessing it’s older due to the lack of present hoppiness.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass better. Darker than exspected, nice creamy head. Starts very, very hoppy, quite dry and woody. Also grasy notes. Finish a little bit floury, still flowery-hoppy, very intense. Really good!

Pours a very hazy reddish orange with a two finger creamy yellow head.Smells a little oxidized, sweet caramel malt, citrus rind, past its prime in the aroma. Flavor shows the same, sweet, citrus rind bitterness, oxidation, some alcohol, a tad earthy. Mild carbonation.

Sampled at 08 vt brewers fest. Pours a medium amber with a beigh head. Aroma is hoppy with pine, citrus, grass and a hint of caramel. Flavor is sweet with caramel, light fruit, citrus and some herbal notes with a medium body and has a bitter hoppy finish.

11.5 oz. Clear red-copper with a two-finger, creamy head that lasts. Earthy caramel, cocoa, and fruit aroma. Taste is similarly sweet but with more grain and toasted nut. Slightly bitter ending has some citrus and resin that leaves a dried wood taste on the finish. Medium body is mostly smooth and finishes dry. Very nice, but just too damn expensive in down-South retail stores ($4.50/single).

Bottle sampled with Mad_indian. Pours amber with a good size foamy off-white head. Aroma of spices, caramel, citrus, and piney hops. The flavor is caramel, spices, light fruitiness, citrus, a good hop character. Very refreshing brew, good body and mouthfeel.

341mL bottle, bottled on date notched on 10/07. Thanks to Denis beerbuzzmontreal for this. Hazy orange with some brown highlights and a 1/2 finger light beige head, creamy with fair retention. Aroma has citrusy hops and a little bit of spicy pine behind it. There is also a good amount of sweet caramel and cotton candy back up the hops. The flavor adds a strange flavor up front that I can only describe as Berry Berry Kix cereal. Dunno about that one. Otherwise, the hops are mainly showing themselves as citrus, and there is plenty of sweet caramel. There is a little bit of earth in the finish with bitterness around a 3-4. Burps citrus and mangoes (kind of tropical). Moderate smooth carbonation with a creamy medium body. I would also put this beer into the APA category. Good beer nonetheless.

Pours a dark hazy copper color ,with a medium white head. Smells of big piney hops, grapefruit citrus, and yeast. Pretty sharpnose. The flavor was very crisp and biting. Huge hop bitterness hits you right away. Big juicy citrus hops and grapefruit just soak the taste buds fully. I would have thought this was stronger than 6.5% abv. vrey big flavor, drys out slightly in the finish, but leaves a big hop afterataste on the palate. Very solid IPA.
