341ml brown bottle. Orange colour, full creamy white head, leaves minimal lacing. Pine and citrus aroma. Hop forward, a mix of sweet orange and grapefruit bitterness, some floral notes, minimal malt character. Long finish as well with lingering grapefruit character. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Thanks MartinT! Deep hazy amber-orange body with a delicious tan lacing head. Fruity aroma with peach, citruses, the volatile oils of orange peel and of course: strong, fine resiny hop perfume. Some caramel and yeast in the nose too. Fine hops in the flavor(strong but not overpowered), fine malt and fruits, citruses and orangepeel feeling. Fine and strong bitter finish, but not an agressive, soon a well balanced aftertaste.

bottle. Pours deep amber with a medium sized off-white head. Fragrant grapefruity hop aroma with some caramel malt in the background. Nice citric hop flavor with some pine needles, caramel, toffee and honey notes. Long, resinous hop finish. Very enjoyable; well crafted and not too over-the-top.

Bottle. Strong aroma of hops, malt and fruit. I got some berries to. amber in colour with a decent head that sticks to the glass. Flavoursome ale, full of hops, malt and fruit. Little smoked finish. Little to sweet for me for an IPA but still pretty dam good. I’m liking this brewery.

11.2 ounce bottle in pint glass. Caramel color with lasting dense head and lace. Caramel biscuit and hop aroma. Toasted caramel biscuit bread and peach sweet fruitiness with very dry hoppy earthy finish. Medium body great mouthfeel. High quality balanced beer, unfortunately, a lot of us (me at least) prefer really crisp hoppy dry piney citrusy IPAs. Still, nice.

From the cask. Pours a lightly cloudy deep golden with a lasting whipped head. Aroma is lightly grassy with some appropriate, if not a little light, piney and resinous grapefruity hops. The body is on the heavier side of the style. The flavors were very full of floral hop and yeasty esters. The character of the malts and yeast is decidedly english. The finish is bitter but not in the way that Americans would expect. The hop varieties are the only thing keeping this from being an excellent English C.C. IPA. This was served excellently and was a treat but they need to vamp up the bittering hops and lower the mash temp to get a dryer beer IMO.

on tap at volo cask days 2008. beautifully orange with a tight white head. big hop aromas with noticable caramel malt background. the malts take the lead in the flavours but the hops are there in plenty. the bitterness on the finish is nice but its held in check by the big maltiness. a nice IPA that i which i could get locally.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Amber pour with a mild aroma of hop and citrus. Mild bitterness and citrus and hop flavor. It was good but not mind blowing.
