Commercial Description:
Corne du diable (French for "Horn of the devil") is a contemporary interpretation of the classic English India Pale Ale. This new style, born on the west coast of North America, is characterized by stronger and hoppier beers. The result is a red ale expressing caramel flavours coming from the malt, sharp bitterness and powerful hop aromas, thanks to dry hopping.

Reddish-amber. Bright. Rich chewy, very woody hop aroma. Full mouthfeel, woody, dry hopping with a rich, earthy, caramelly character. Rich brown sugar. Clean, rich bitterness.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, light brown, mostly lasting. Body is dark amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie, caramel), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit, apricot), with notes of dried mango and wood. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Nice rendition, with a more varied aroma than most American versions. Enjoyable quaffer.

Bottle. A cloudy orange amber color with an off-white head. A citrus and fruity hop aroma. Earthy, pine, and caramel with a nice bitter finish. Well balanced.

This IPA pours a deep copper amber color from a 33cl bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is earthy malts and floral hops. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel, earthy and semi-sweet. The hops are floral and citrusy. A different tasting IPA, its an IPA, but the malt and hops profile seem different than the normal citrusy hops and caramel malts. Lots of orange and tangerine flavors as well. Nice balance. Long lasting bitter finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

bottle, from Sams quikstop or bluelight. Good aroma, sweet, bready, nutty, citrus, cardboard. Hazed brownish orange color, small head that stayed as a ring, minor lacing on the way down. Bitter sweet flavor, a sour bitter with hints of citrus, little tobacco. medium body creamy mouth feel, bitter dry finish. Good, aroma had some nice range. flavor was more straight forward.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a hazy strongly carbonated brown colored body and thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was brown malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of caramel and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Quite quafable.
