The aroma reveals a megaton of oranges with very floral hops, I smell happiness ! The flavor is excellent also, again the orange is omnipresent with great floral hops, malt and a lovely bitter finish. The body has a light to medium thickness with a creamy texture and lively carbonation. Woof, excellent, way better than before. Soapy, pine aroma wmakes way to aggressive hopping in the flavour, but with an interesting pine, pepper and caramel aftertaste. It’s excellent, and I’d love to try it on tap should I ever make my way to the brewery in Montreal. :( JesseM (678), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Just saying. Pours a nice darker goldish amber with a large rocky white head. The aroma smacks of American style IPA-ness, great grapefruity piney hops with some nice caramalt underneath. Flavour has a great hop bite upfront met with some good malty sweetness and then a hoppy flavoured finish and aftertaste without the same initial bitter bite. The body has a nice thicker feel to it but is still light and only has a trace of the ABV. Earthy aftertaste. Lingering flavour of awesomeness (sometimes refered to as hops). Probably the closest thing I’ve had from a Canadian brewer to a true West Coast styled IPA. Super solid beer. gunhaver (1043), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours a murky caramel color, with a very nice, marshmallow-like white head. Prominent lacing retention and lacing. Very floral hop aroma, with citrus, grapefruit, plum, cinnamon, and other spices. Nice. Has a very malty body, which is balanced superbly with an exciting hop profile that finishes each sip. Spicy mouthfeel. Very refreshing to drink. Tastes like a very balanced IPA but feels like an easy, crisp refreshing lawnmower beer, which is awesome. EricE (467), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

Very aromatic - floral and fruity hops. Grapefruit, melon and tropical fruits. Perhaps a bit of cotton candy or bubble gum. Dry bitter hop flavor with lots of fruit. Citrus and tree fruits, and even a little bit of cherry. Nice balanced flavor that leaves a lasting dry hop finish. KornDogg (221), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma: Powerful nose of juicy citrus fruit hops and resin
Appearance: Hazy caramel color, foamy off-white head, and leaves a decent amount of lace
Flavor: Sweet matly flavor with balancing from a huge hop backing, a well made IPA
Palate: Dry finish, creamy mouthfeel, medium body, long finish, and nice all the way down
Overall Impression:
My second beer from Dieu du Ciel, and they are 2 for 2 for sure! Between these guys and Unibroue I guess I need to drink more Canadian beer... Anyway, as for this one, I’m impressed! This is a beer I could drink a lot of, and at 6.5% I probably really could drink a lot of it. A very tasty brew for sure, well down by our neighbors to the north.
