Draught (6 oz. sample) at Dieu du Ciel! Ruby-amber with a small head. Strong hop aroma, quite earthy, with caramel malt and a hint of rye to round things out. Flavour follows the aroma almost exactly, with the addition of a hint of chocolate malt. Mouthfeel is soft and moreish. A very good beer, and a great first beer to have upon my arrival for a weekend in Montreal.

Nice hazy amber body topped with a lasting off-white creamy head. Good hoppy aroma with grapefruit hints. Its sharp hoppy taste ends with a long bitter finish. Very well done!

Dark reddish amber body with minimal head. Caramel malt aroma with some light toasty notes. Sweet upfront but decent balance. Finishes a little sweet.

Thin white head. Dark amber body. Sweetish roasty caramel aroma. Soft nutty roasty caramel malt taste, kind of dusty, with wild berry notes. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. Lovely dry edge to it. Nutty and hoppy. Dry, roasty aftertaste. A beautiful session beer. (0.275l draft.)

Cask. A lightly hazed reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. A classy biscuit malt aroma with good floral hops and light citrus notes. In mouth, a light malt with good hops, pink grapefruit and medium bodied. On tap at DDC, Dec. 16 2006. with ProbstK.

Cask.

[pint at the brewpub, 5%] Earthy rye aroma, with some caramel malt and citrus hops. Pours a cloudy, reddish amber color. Mildly sweet malt flavors balanced with an aggressive APA hop profile. Rye adds an additional complexity to this already tasty brew.
