Aroma is roasted coffee, chocolate and nuts, black, medium sized coffee head, lot’s of lace. Flavour is espresso, strong malt and some hops. Well balanced, very full bodied, especially since this was draught, nicely bitter. Fantastic! mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Perfect stout appearance - dark black with a creamy tan head and great lingering lacing. Obvious roasty coffee prevails but there is some semi-sweet chocolate too. Chewy and creamy and some woodiness and vanilla appear. Very good. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA

Aroma has some coffee with lots of roasted malts, and hints of toffee and chocolate. Lots of chocolate flavor initially and has a big mouthfeel but then finishes a little wierd and a bit funky. Some oak and wood in there as well. I also got a bit of vanilla in the end. jsquire (2123), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
