Apr 11, 2008 Bu sur place le 11/4/08, en fut (20 oz). Brune cola, moyen collet avec de la dentelle. Arome d’houblon légé avec une finission cafiné. Goût de malte roti et de café mocha est pas mal semblable à une stout sec, bien qu’elle est un peu amère, c’est sa finission houblonneuse qui la rent une hybride intéressante.

Jun 2, 2008 Mondial de la Biere 2008. Dark borwn color with moderate head. Nice hoppy citrus/pine and floral aroma with malt roastiness supporting. Taste starts and finishes bitter with a solid roasted malt appearance in the middle. One of my favorites from the festival.

Sep 21, 2008 Tap at the DDC 10th Anniversary Party. Best beer of the night I’d say. Beautiful black with a very creamy head. Great roast and pumpernickel aroma. Fleating hops in the flavor behind a very grainy, espresso, dark malt flavor. More pumpernickel here. Quite nice.
