Commercial Description:
The Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

11.5 oz. bottle. Smallish off-white head on top of a hazy amber body. Crisp and wheaty floral aroma. Goes down equally crisp and wheaty with citrus notes and very subtle hints of pepper throughout. Thin-bodied. On the acidic side of things. Love the experimentation, but had hoped for something more taste-wise.

Poured from an 11.5oz bottle and served in a shaker. This beer poured a hazy amber with some red highlights and a soapy off-white head that lingered for a bit. Some light lacing was left behind. The aroma consisted of hibiscus, raspberries, malted wheat, and some mild coriander. The flavor included strong wheat, earthy and spicy yeast, also some flower petals. The mouthfeel was light-bodied and had moderate carbonation. Refreshing and highly drinkable. Pretty tasty beer. The hibiscus gives it a flavor reminiscent of raspberries.

Bottle pours a very hazed and foggy pink peach brown with a short lasting pinkish white head. The aroma is yeast, hibiscus tea, coriander, and some other cardamom like notes. The flavor is quite like hibiscus tea with a lingering fruity tartness. The coriander and cardamom shine through as it warms. Funny, it reminds me of De Dolle Oerbier light. The palate is quenching and refreshing. Overall, this is a nice surprise.

Pink color and aroma of lager yeast. Light malt. Some flower and fruit flavor, and it is real fruit. Not very sweet, but light and delicate with the flower flavor.

Pours a cloudy pink with a lovely pink head with poor retention. Aroma of melon, rose, sweet herb (coriander-like). Light sweet & fruity taste with a hint of rose-water followed up by coriander and arrowroot. Lingering grainy sweetness. Thin undercarbonated body. A very light but interesting beer, well balanced and executed.
