Pwn3d (621), NYC, New York, USA Jun 23, 2008 Bottled, awesome artwork on the bottle. Hazy unique rink (grapefruit juice) pour. Wheat popuri nose, strawberry. Mouth is medium to full, grapefruit and florals. Interesting.
thornecb (1142), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Oct 11, 2008 Pours murky, dusted ruby pink rose petals into an English pint. Excellent offwhie micro head with good retention. Ruby pink rose petals crisp Dry with tart pomegranate. Syd (741), Twin Cities Metro, Minnesota, USA Oct 10, 2008 Bottle pours a very hazed and foggy pink peach brown with a short lasting pinkish white head. The aroma is yeast, hibiscus tea, coriander, and some other cardamom like notes. The flavor is quite like hibiscus tea with a lingering fruity tartness. The coriander and cardamom shine through as it warms. Funny, it reminds me of De Dolle Oerbier light. The palate is quenching and refreshing. Overall, this is a nice surprise. JK (2501), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Oct 5, 2008 Pink color and aroma of lager yeast. Light malt. Some flower and fruit flavor, and it is real fruit. Not very sweet, but light and delicate with the flower flavor. mgermani (621), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Oct 2, 2008 Pours a cloudy pink with a lovely pink head with poor retention. Aroma of melon, rose, sweet herb (coriander-like). Light sweet & fruity taste with a hint of rose-water followed up by coriander and arrowroot. Lingering grainy sweetness. Thin undercarbonated body. A very light but interesting beer, well balanced and executed. beerbill (1321), Laurel, New York, USA Sep 27, 2008 Bottle received as a beer-of-the-month selection. Pours a lovely red with tinits of amber and rose pink. A very unique color actually, and I like it. Moderate off-white head with a blush of pink to it as well that faded away after the first two sips. Pleasant floral aroma with some light sour notes picked up in the nose as well. The flavor slides back a bit with malt up front followed by some hibiscus (if you’ve ever had hibiscus tea, you’ll recongnize the flavor). The flavors seem to evaporate quickly, although there is a residual tartness that lingers briefly. A different beer that is worth trying.
