bblack99 (11), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Sep 3, 2008 On tap at Dillon Dam Brewery in Colorado. Pours a bright amber with a great toasty aroma and flavor. walter (359), Staunton, Virginia, USA Jul 22, 2007 Draft at the brewery. Copper color with white head. Not much in the aroma department-- some faint maltiness and underlying bitterness. Flavor is mild caramel malt with some crisp hop bitterness in the finish. A bit watery throughout. Not bad at all, very drinkable, but not a knockout. alexanderj (1338), San Diego, California, USA Jul 14, 2007 Bottle courtesy of golubj; poured an orange amber, small quick diminishing head. Aroma was nice with caramel, toffee and bread. Flavor was of toasted malt, caramel and a slight hop hint. Good mouthfeel; somewhat creamy. csbosox (974), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Jul 9, 2007 Rating from 3/06. On tap @ DD. Amber color. Caramel, toffee aroma. Taste is caramelly, mild earthy hops, hops mostly for bittering. Not too bad for what it is, a light amber lager. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA Jul 3, 2007 The 12 ounce bottle poured a flat-but-clear orange-amber colored beverage with a small, creamy, white head that was mostly diminishing but that left good lacing on the glass. The aroma had a light, sweet and fruity fragrance to it. There were notes of caramel with a very light floral hop backdrop. The body was medium with a soft carbonation and a creamy, smooth texture. The flavor started out sweet and stayed that way through the medium-long finish. There was even a slight alcohol warmth in the chest.
