Commercial Description:
Brewed with traditional German ingredients, this deep amber Bavarian Style Lager is well balanced and rich with a malt aroma and flavor. Medium bodied with a subtle, dry, spicy-hop finish, it is the perfect Lager for any fall day.

On tap @ Dillon Dam poured a clear copper brown with a minimal amber head Aromas ofcarmel, toasted malt, dark bread and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, toasted malt, pumpernikeland a hint of dark fruit with a smooth malty finish.

on tap/growler-pours a tan head and copper color. Aroma is caramel malt. Taste is medium caramel malt, slight coffee, good secondary hops. Smooth, good carbonation. Thanks to Ric/Rich Kempton from Virginia Old Boys Rugby!

Draft pint at the brewpub: Dark brown, more so than most O-fests. Big wafting caramel malt aroma and the beer is also very malty ... caramel ... and almost a hazlenuttiness.

Tasted 9/30 Dillon Dam Brewery, GABF weekend. Smells like soggy malts. Medium bodied with a slight floral hop finish. Amber hue.

Draught. Body is dark amber. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, toasted light bread, cookie), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. My fave of the tasting session.
