English-style ale. Reddish brown color. Mild caramel and nutty aroma. Taste is sweet, nutty malt followed by earthy hops and a mildly bitter finish. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA Jun 27, 2007 The 12 ounce bottle poured a clear medium reddish brown beverage with a small frothy off-white head that was mostly diminishing and left a little bit of lacing on the glass. The aroma was interesting with notes of caramel, spicy hops, aged leather and rock candy blending together to create an intriguing invitation to taste. The body was medium with soft carbonation and a watery texture. The flavor starts out lightly sweet and stays fairly consistent throughout the medium finish.
