Commercial Description:
This strong copper colored German style bock is brewed with bottom fermenting lager yeast. It is full-bodied and lightly hopped with a sweet and rich warming taste sensation.

Deep brown with golden highlights with a light head. Very toasty aroma with light chocolate notes. Light toast, chocolate flavour with a fairly big alcohol signature. OK.

Oh! I get it--Yo Han Bock. OK, semi-clear dark brown. Not much head. Roasted malt, grain husks. Sweet with chalky finish. Date sugar flavors. Meh. Ain’t nothing baroque goin’ on here!

Draught at the brewery. Clear dark amber colour with a tan head. Sweet aroma with hints of caramel. Decent mouthfeel but the flavour was little too sweet and definitely hopped up. Not bad, just different for a doppol.

Rating from 3/06. On tap @ DD. Dark copper color. Aroma is moderately malty and sweet. Taste is sweet with some caramelly malt and a bit of chocolate. The beer seems overly sweet and cloying. Nice body.

Pretty good, that is my frist thought upon tasting this bock. Rich and creamy with some rich chocolate and sweet caramel, with a bit of nuttiness showing through as well. Some butterscotch, and other assorted bit of spiciness. This feel and tastes great. Well done!
