| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 17, 2006 On tap. Pours a clear, light golden yellow with a thin white head. Light, grassy aroma. There was a touch of hops present in the flavor. Average brew. Easy to drink, but then again so is water. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 17, 2006 Clear pale yellow color with a medium frothy white head. Aroma of sweet corn and light honey. Sweet grain flavor with light hints of honey. DrnkMcDermott (1861), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Sampler from bottle. Clear bottle means, yup, any individual bottle of this beer is subject to skunking. I had a whiff of skunk in my li’l cup, but it went away. Light yellow color, a bit hazy. Decently bitter. Not much to say beyond that. badinplaid (103), USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 4, 2006 I tried this in a mini home keg. It was an OK german brew. Good for daily drinking. Not the best example of a german pilsner but a good one. Beerdedone (1885), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 30, 2006 Bottle. Pours yellow with a large white head. Aroma of grain, grassy hops, and straw. Flavor is bitter, grainy, straw-like. Thin body, weak. Not anything good. EithCubes (2167), Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 29, 2006 Bottled. Clear, pale yellow pour, strong rocky white head. Malty aroma, have to strain to detect it, though. Mild bitterness, a little hoppiness in the back of the throat. Malty sweetness is tasty but isn’t balanced well with those hops. Soft mouthfeel, and a little tingly, but very watery. Drinkable but disappointing - this ‘Silberhälsle’ is yet another boring pils. SuIIy (1479), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 26, 2006 12oz bottle. Pours a clear crisp yellow color with a white foamy head. Nose is straw and grass with some light caramel and sweet malt. Palate is crisp with a bit of thickness to it. Flavor is kinda dirty and stale, with light sweet malt hints and a touch of straw. Tejas (702), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2006 Clear gold > no head which is disappointing. Good malty backbone. Seemingly lots of good flavor but all changed as this one warmed up a bit. Funny / skunky aftertaste. Not very appealing.
