Skunky, slightly hopped aroma. Ok golden color with a white head. Flavor was alright at first, but didn’t really leave a good aftertaste. Not too good. smhanna (4), New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA does not count | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 2, 2004 Not the best, but after buying a 6-pack for about $1 in France, I grew to really like the stuff... It’s a decent, middle-of-the-road, pils. Too bad it goes for $7/6-pack here in NJ. zach8270 (2127), Henrietta, New York, USA

Light and crisp aroma of hops with a hint of malt near the end. Initial taste is reminiscent of Pilsner Urquell, a slightly bitter hop bite with a decent malt and hop finish. Not too bad. Smelled bad, tasted bad, and just plain was bad. It may not be as complex as a Barley Wine, or as hoppy as an Urquel - but anyone can be hit over the head. I enjoy the subtle qualities and smooth, melanoidin malts balanced with Saaz hops the D-A has to offer. KAggie97 (2476), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
