Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was a mild baance of malt and hops. Mouthfeel is fine, but the aftertaste is a bit harsh, somewhat sour. Flavor was run-of-the-mill pilsner, nothing exceptional, but not bad. A decent brew.

Nice golden color, small white head that had a good hangtime. The aroma was light malt and hops with a mild fruit presence of lemon.Nice light flavor of malt and lemon with a decent hop showing and the brew comes off as being fairly sweet. The after taste is mildly bitter sweet with a mild showing from the hops. This is a very easy to drink brew and would make a good brew for those hot humid days when the lawn just has to be mowed.

This is tasty stuff, especially when it is summer time and really hot outside. Any other time of the year this would prabably not be as good. Pours lightly golden with a big creamy head, that diminshes quickly. Everything about this pils is balanced, and the mouthfeel is fresh and effervescent. Finishes clean and slightly bitter.

Indiana Ale Fest at Fort Wayne. Bottle. This beer poured a small white creamy and smooth head with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly diminished. There was a lot of fast-rising carbonation, transparent and a yellow hue. The aroma was malty and hoppy with a malty and hoppy flavor that left a lingering aftertaste. The mouthfeel was tingly. There was good lacing on the sides of my glass.

Ale Fest Fort Wayne 2004. This bottled brew poured a large sized head of finely sized white colored bubbles that left behind a good lacing. The body was carbonated transparent and yellow colored. The aroma was good and typical of a good pils malty and hoppy in a mild manner. The mouth feel was bubbly and tingly with an astringent lingering finish. The flavor was also malty and hoppy but also contained some stringency and acidity.

Noticeably more bitter than most other basic pilsners. Makes this beer hold some interest through most of 12 oz. Otherwise, this is not really worth sampling more than once.

Bottle: Hop, maybe a little skunky aroma. Soapy looking head and pretty good lacing. I expect it to have more of a bitter taste based on the smell, but flavor is rather plain. Watery taste that’s a lightly malty and even lighter on the hops. A decent balance even if the flavor is a little weak. Not much aftertaste but what’s there is slightly bitter. I can’t say it’s bad, but I can’t say it’s good. Just very plain.
