Another straw-colored brew on tap at Steinkeller. This was light, with a slightly peppery feel. Had a bitter finish. A subpar Pils.

Is it just me, or do all German beers taste the same? This one is very similar to the others that I've tried - possibly slightly better than some.

Clear light straw color witha a soft peak egg white head. Light pale malt with a touch of noble hops. Slight malt on the tip and then very late in the finish. Fairly thin and light bodied. Some acidic qualities that are very cleansing to the palate. Mid level german pils.

Decent, run of the mill German Pilsener. Light golden color with lots of bubble action and a thick starchy white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Typical pils aroma - almost skunky but not overwhelmingly so. Flavor starts off a bit sweet and hoppy but fades near the end. Leaves a slight bitter and bland taste in the mouth going down. Nothing offending.

Pale gold, frothy white head. Slightly hoppy aroma . Bunch of low quality bitter hops not much more ... Need refinement.

Light straw colour. Bleached foam. Aroma of damp hay, uric acid. Light body. Very dry, to the point of scratchiness. No malt at all. It takes skill to achieve that kind of lightness and imbalance.

It had flavor, it had aroma, but all bad, bad, bad. After awhile it gets bearable, but just the remerance of the first few sips are scaring me away from even trying this one again. But then again, I'm not a german beer guy.

Skunky bottle. Skunky aroma sharp and acrid. Somewhat subdued bitters but no real flavor. Urine yellow no head to speak of. Watery and fizzy. Decent when it's cold.
