Bottle. Pours clear light yellow-amber with 2-inch loose, bubbly head. Refreshing yeasty pungent aroma. Taste is slightly sour and dry with musty fermented, yeasty, citrus notes that ends bitter sweet with little aftertaste. Mouthfeel is thin. Light and refreshing.

Draught: Aroma of Pils malts, citrus, banana, and citrus hops. Poured pale gold in color with a medium-sized, creamy, white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Very lightly sparkling. Medium bitter flavor. Tastes of bubblegum, Hellertau hops, Pils malts, banana, and some spice I cannot identify. Light to medium body. Chalky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Bitter bubblegum and hop finish.

I can’t figure out Classic German Pilsners, is this style supposed to taste like fine American swill? Dinkleacker agreed with my side of the palate that enjoys bland pale lagers, but i’d never pay the premium price for this import.

What I liked best about this is it’s ability to knock you off your socks!!! It’s strong considering it’s alchohol %. I didn’t discern any appreciable aroma. The appearance was a clear and golden hue. Flavor was so-so, honestly tasted like a Heineken. Palate was a bit astringent for me. My father loved it, I didn’t.

Tried this at a German restaurant, a decent beer. The aftertaste stings a bit, very little flavor to it. I would not pick it again.

The bottle looks not too bad. The beer in the glass also. But the aroma is terrible, much too alcoholic. The beer starts the same, but in the end it’s really vapid, almost washy. Not a good beer.

12oz bottle from sample pack. Pours a light gold color with a big bubble bath head the quickly disappears. Little to no lace evident. Malty aroma with earthy notes. Wheaties on the front with a bitter skunky middle that lasts to an almost astringent finish. I would’nt fly to Germany for this one.

12oz. Bottle BOTW ’07: Light amber in color, no head. Aroma: Lets not speak of it. Very carbonated, tastes like a cheap beer. No complexity, nothing to see here...lets move along. Bad aftertaste that just gets worse as it sits in the back of your throat.
