Pours a darker brownish amber with a smaller off white head that left slight lacing. Aroma of malts, some caramel, maybe a slight hint of fruits but hard to pick out what. Flavor was also malty, maybe some cherry, some roast and even a slight bitterness. A bit thin and watery.

[Portland International Beer Festival – Tap] A dark brown brew with a minimal head. This had a strong flavor and a good malt balance. You can tell they took there time brewing this beer. The fruitiness was subtle yet noticeable. I liked this beer it was a good representative to the style.

Pours reddish brown. Carmael malty aroma. Slightly roasted flavors, lightly chocolate with a carmalized malt. A decent dark beer.

On tap. Pours a medium-dark brown with a thin head. Aroma of malt and caramel. The flavors followed the aroma on this one. Smooth and very easy to drink, but by no means outstanding.

Bottle. Slight hint of cherry in there. Dark color, with a flavor you’d expect from a dark beer. Sweet, roasty, and malty all over.
