Thin roasted maple malt flavors, with a sweet, roasted, thin finish. Aromas and flavors compliment each other nicely, but the body could be a little more complex to suit the style. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 15, 2006 Bottle. Pours a deep amber color with a decent off-white head. Aroma of sweet and slight roasted malts, as well as some hops. Flavor is smooth, malty, sweet caramel, ok body. Average at best brew. after4ever (2809), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 6, 2006 Draft at Prost. Big off-white head, nice deep brown, ruby-toned body. Clean and straightforward and easy to drink like a lager, but also somewhat unsatisfying that way with such a light body--the lager dilemma (you have to be in the mood, probably). Very thin flavor, but still tasty enough if you take a big pull from the glass. biggcb (464), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 1, 2006 Bottle. Medium brown/amber color. Average head. Some malt in aroma...and some in taste. A little bitterness on the backend. Uninspiringly average. jcwattsrugger (5573), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
