Bottle in Northern KY. Poured a murky deep amber color with an average frothy white head that lasted. Moderate burnt malt aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium burnt malt and caramel flavor with a small bitter finish of average duration.

On tap. Nice dark ruby color with very thin head. Malty aroma with hint of hops in the nose. Good basic dunkel malty flavor though a touch thin. Finishes with some nice hops and come caramel flavors. Not terribly exciting but a decent dunkel.

12 oz. bottle, purchased by a friend for my 30th birthday...Pours a clear, sparkling cherry wood with a small, cream colored frothy head. Spare lacing...Smell light perfume hops and definite caramel malts, also detect a light alcohol aroma...Early carbonation with an oddly sticky texture. Medium bodied and a definite metallic finish...Short earthy caramel flavor and lightly bitter...Best word to describe this brew is "odd". A dry, smoky, apple taste with not much else really going on. Not bad, but borderline boring. Could drink a few if I didn’t have many other options but I also wouldn’t care if I never had this again.

Dark amber beer with a medium tan head, that laces the glass as it subsides and a hoppy aroma. The taste was malty with some coffee and caramel aftertones.

Odd-smelling beer, pours to a small head. Color is a dark-carmel hue. Mouthfeel is thin. Taste is somewhat thin, too; slight taste of hops, malt. Very average.

Semi-sweet flavor with a ground-up coffee filter kind of mouthfeel. Some raisin and plum in there too. Dark color. Medium body, rather fizzy. Decent dunkel.

Bottle: poured a copper red, small thin head. Light fruit. Slightly malty with a little warm hop at the end. Taste more like a Marzen than a Dinkel to me... Not a bad brew, but nothing to write home about.

what to say? cloudy amber with a brown head, it has an utterly unimpressive aroma followed by metallic flavor. creamy, the aftertaste is actually alright.
