| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2005 Pours a dark brown with ruby hues. Thin tan head that is mostly receding. A very mild aroma of dark bready malts with some caramel. Taste of roasted malts with a hint of chocolate. Mouthfeel is thin and slightly watery. Finishes slightly sweet and moderately bitter. Not terribly complex, but pretty good. Aroma needs some work. This beer tastes better than it smells. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma is malty and sweet, I thought I smelled hints of apples. It is light in malty flavor and goes down smooth. There is a little bit of an aftertaste, but overall it was nice.
