Dark brown, golden at the edges, average whitish head. Sweet caramel aroma, perhaps a little bready. Straightforward caramel malt palate, brown sugar perhaps. Not bad, flavourful but not terribly complex. Maybe mine was too cold...

Part of a winter sampler, it’s a fairly nice Dunkel. Not much involved in the bland aroma, some faint caramel is present along with a metallic tinge. Dark murky pour with a half-inch vibrant tan head and spotty lacing. Very drinkable, clean with a nice aftertaste along with a mild bitterness. Flavor is subdued brown sugar and caramel malt, toffee and buttered toast. Lightly hopped with a nice balance.

Almost ruby in color. Smells malty and tastes malty. Not really my cup of tea so to speak. Very sweet flavor with a light, crisp finish.

It has a gorgeous cream head that matches the color perfectly. I wasn’t a great fan but this beer did surprise me.

A good beer with a nice amber colour and a white head. I think that this is my first dunkel. I drank this out of a shaker.

bottle - Pours dark amber with a thin head. It smells of caramel malts and as expected that’s what dominates the flavor as well. There’s some mild hops in there. This medium bodied beer isn’t a bad quaff, but nothing stands out about it either.

this beer is very sweet. That’s about all I can say. I did not care for it and I bought it by accident. I wanted the Pils. my bad.

One of my favorite dark beers. Nice caramel with some kickin’ hops. Nice after taste.
