bottle, thank you MoritzF! Clear golden colour, big head. Hoppy nose. Full-bodied, bitter-sweet: very malty and very hoppy, especially in the finish. Well-balanced. A good one.

Sweet aroma of malts, fruits and hay.
Sweet flavour of malts, fruits, hay and hops with notes of alcohol.

Aug 19, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminishing white head. Mild spiced hoppy and light cornish aroma. Flavour is mild acidic and bitterhops with a dry and mild cornish note. Medium sweet and light spiced finish.

May 22, 2008 Bottle: Deep golden with a quickly collapsing foamy layer; swet-malty, but also papery and alcoholic nose supported by some herbal hops; medium bodied, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; robust sweet-bitter finish. A quite rough "Heller Bock", not really convincing........

May 1, 2008 (33cl bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and slowly lacing blonde foamy head. Grassy hoppy aroma with a light-sweet and slightly perfumed pale malty background. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a slightly crispy carbonation. Pale malt-character with spicy herbal notes; almost dry, bitter and slightly grassy hoppy finish with a light biscuity malty sweetness and a bit harsh alcohol presence. A rough but definitely not too sweet pale Bock (01.05.08).
