| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 17, 2009 Draught at the brewpub. This batch was listed as 7.3% Almost black in color with a lasting creamy tan head. Banana and sharp, spicy clove aroma. Light banana fruitiness, strong spicy, almost medicinal flavor, somewhat indistinct darker malts, and a kiwi fruit finish. Medium-light in body and a little sticky. seems to thin for what it is. Interesting beer, but I can’t say that it tastes like a good wiezenbock on the whole. fiulijn (7257), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 28, 2006 Draft... Murky, dark brown beer with a small, frothy, off-white head. The nose is fruity and spicy with notes of banana, clove, orange peel, very light caramel and pink bubblegum. The flavor is much the same, but with heavier banana esters. Mostly malty and sweet. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with medium carbonation. Finishes lightly sweet, fruity and spicy. Quality brew, but not really my thing... too spicy and fruity for me. haddon90 (1036), Alexandria, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2005 Draft at DC Chophouse. Foggy brown color, with a light tinted frothy head. Dark banana notes, as well as some malt, and sweet. A loaded taste. Bubblegum, light spices, and a definite yeast presence. Smooth, and refined. A decent brew by Chophouse! | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 7, 2005 Draft at District Chophouse in DC on 12-3-05. Muddied brown with light bits of ruby on the edges.Nose is fruity and sweet with lots of banana, light bubblegum, sweet malts, and some candied notes. Bit of caramel as well. At certains times I pick up the aroma of a banana float, albeit an untraditional one. Taste is bigger banana, bubblegum, clove, other lighter spices, sweet amlt, brown sugar, and a bit of caramel and light bitterness. Body is smooth and light with mild carbonation feel. Finishes with lots of banana and clove but still sweet and elicits banana’s foster this time. Very nice!
