Tap. Clear golden yellow, thin white head. Crisp clean refreshing. A touch of cereal corn \ wheat. Aroma is light malt. Basic and boring.... for the commoners.

On tap at the District Chophouse. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Esters, grain, a touch of citrus. Toasty grain, buttered popcorn. Finishes up with some light bitterness and a bunch of grain.

Location: Tap at the Brew Pub , 8/7/09

Overall Impression: I found this beer to be better then I expected. I mean it is a boring style, so you don’t get a ton of excitement out of it usually, but this one at least was crisp, clean, and refreshing, and for it’s style, more of a quality selection (vs. its own style) then most of their other offerings that I sampled.

Appearance: clear golden look with mid top , fine creamy looking head, some lace shown.3+
Nose: Mild straight , grainy character. Slight scent of fruity-hop nose.5+
Flavor/Palate : Soft mid bodied texture. Other than most lagers it does have tea like character. Good malted mid body with refreshing clean crispness.

Draught at the brewpub. Straw yellow with a small head and some random floating foam. Very light aroma of slight sulpher, clean, light pale malt sweetness, and very faint hops. Light pale malt and grain flavor, light honey sweetness, and a light hop snap that you really have to pay attention to pick up. Light bodied and crisp feel, yet not harshly carbonated like you would expect from a macro version of the style. It’s sad to say it, but this was the standout of the sampler. Still not a beer that I would get again, but damn, its clean and well done for the style, something that I couldn’t say of any of their other beers, even if I would have gone for another one of them over this for another round.

Light golden pour with moderate head. Weak on the alcohol (i know its a light) but felt like I could drink these all day and not get anything from it.

Tap at the brewpub. Really not too bad at all. Relatively light pour, light grain, light fruit, clover, dryish, with a bit of an ugly malt note. Drinkable enough, and free of flaws for the most part.
