Muddy pale blond color. Light Looza banana and spicy aroma. The mouthfeel is round enough, but no interesting flavor, just some cloves.

Jul 18, 2007 Lightly hazy, golden with minimal head. Aroma Lots of banana and clove in teh nose by the flavour is thinner and more lager like. Sweeter without a lot of wheat flavour.

Jul 10, 2007 Banana is prominent in the doughy wheat aroma. Opaque golden yellow body is topped by a low white head that recedes to a thin partial cover. Banana is very strong in the flavour with plenty of doughy wheat but unfortunately it comes across as rather sweet. Spices are subdued in the aftertaste. Medium body is creamy in texture with carbonation that is quite low for the style. Sampled on tap at the brewpub (and thankfully I remembered to order it with no lemon).

Oct 17, 2005 Updated: Jun 30, 2007Ack! NFL! Blonde, slight haze, thick head. Heavy clove, lemon, banana. Lemon! Oh fuck me. Flavour is banana, clove and it’s a bit grainy. Light finish, slight wheat tartness. OK, hefe, wrong glass and uh...no lemon, please.

The latest incarnation of Dix Hefe has a new yeast. This sucker is tart, wheaty, with a decent malt background. It’s still not terribly complex and the tartness was a bit off-putting at first. But after the second pint I kind of warmed up to it. Light banana and spice. 6-4-7-3-13 = 3.3
