| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 20, 2008 whoooooo put the skunk in the bottle? Poured with a huge thick foamy white head. Plenty of lace. Flavor wasn’t quite as bad. Not saying a lot. Decent body. pale gold color. Think this one was light struck and woulda been a whole lot better before the dastardly deed. Too bad as this is a sample and therefore won’t be carried. jimmay (214), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 17, 2008 Bottle from New Orleans. Very pale golden colour. Pale aromas, sweet. definitely smelling the corn. Whiteish head dissipates quickly. Appropriately a pale lager. Cool label. glennmastrange (860), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Aug 7, 2008 Bottle. Light aromas of grain, grass, cooked corn, paper and band aid. Head is fizzy, white with no lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling gold. Flavor starts lightly acidic and finishes moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation. A slightly off aroma, but otherwise nothing offensive. Just an average tasting American Pale Lager. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Jul 20, 2008 A sub-par beer, (not suprisingly) brewed by Huber for Dixie: Pours golden colour, grainy texture and very malty. Pear, soft citrus fruit and grain in the taste. not impressed at all. pumpmaster (480), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 24, 2008 12oz bottle. Dark yellow, very carbonated, no head. Nose is musty, grainy, no hint of hops. Taste is a bit malty, medicinal, roast (?), quite funky, stale? Drink this very cold or not at all. They need to start using Mississippi River water again to give this some flavor of the bayou... joekfsu (138), Boardman, Ohio, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 22, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a nearly clear gold with 2-3 cm of foamy white head, quickly diminishing. Aroma of sweet malts. Initial flavor is light and sweet, no real definitive flavor. Aftertaste is mildly dry and long lasting. Light body, light carbonation, light lacing, and no alcohol presence noted. Overall, anyone could drink this if other better beers weren’t around.
