bottle from ace bev. pours with very little head, pale clear amber. aroma is caramel, peaches? both is thin, but with an unexpected caramel apple thing going on in the finish. decidedly sweet, and not in a good way. better than the average swill, but not by much.

This beer is a highly drinkable beer for those saturdays when you go to your football game. This one is a little hazy in color, pretty good aroma, a little bit of a bitter aftertaste on this tangy brew. Good though. One of my favorites when I was in college.

12oz bottle. Somewhat hazy and golden hued. Lively and a little bitter and dry. Zesty and grainy. Slightly sticky. Meh.

This is classified as a pale lager, and because of such classification, remained in my collection for a year before drinking. I finally decided to drink it, and it was suprisingly good. Nothing like a pale lager at all...actually tasted more like a red ale. Full malt flavor, maple syrup, nuts and caramel. Perhaps a little too sweet, but nevertheless a suprisingly good beer. Enjoyed this one, and also enjoying supporting the New Orleans economy at the same time.

A mes rate: One of 3 beers Sim inexplicably purchased last night whilst drunk after a mission at Lowlander. Aroma is actually not bad. Malty with a hint of honey. From there on it is pretty dire. Looks like pee. Head settled like Alka Seltzer. Malty in the mouth and in all honesty very little else. Watery mouthfeel. Fizzy, slightly bitter finish. Nothing offensive about it (I managed to drink the whole bottle) but then again it is so lacking in any character what so ever that it is impossible to find anything to be offended by. Ah well. It beats bud (the beer that is) ;)

Bottle Mesparos New Orleans. Heavier than most American beers I’ve tried. Would drink it more often if it were available in the Northeast.

Drank it while I lived in NO. I thought "Drink what’s local" and then I noticed the locals didn’t get near this stuff. Weird, weird finish on this one, almost metal in flavor.
