An acceptable pale lager, better than most with a mild malty aroma, clean, clear look, and a decent taste.

I had this beer 12 years ago when I had no taste in beer (I drank Mickeys by the jug and loved it). I remember actually spitting it out. So, I was prepared to hate this. MY GOD! This stuff is freakn’ great!. I am not kidding. I don’t know If they use it in the beer or not, but this stuff tastes very strong of honey. It is the most perfect balance of malt and honey. The hops are in the background with the honey and light malt covering them. If you are reading this and you are suprised at how much I liked this beer, i assure you, i am more suprised than you! Finaly, a PL that is worth a damn! ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 22, 2004 Fine white head, hazy golden orange body. Fruity and citrusy in the aroma, fresh though quite weak. Grassy and citrusy flavor, little odd in the taste. Thin finish. Braudog (3774), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Aug 14, 2004 Highly carbonated yellow beer with fast beery head, like Pabst. Little aroma, maybe like cream pie. Silky complexion. Smooth sweet, real creamy - reminiscent of cream ale with meringue flavors.
