Aroma is honeyish with perhaps some caramel overtones. Mouthfeel OK but a bit pebbly/prickly. Flavor starts out rather full for the style with some honeyish maltiness but then kind of just fades off into a rather weakly malty pale lager that at least avoids the corn/rice and/or paper/cardboard taste of many of the style. Slightly hazy pale golden with a white head. Very buttery aroma. Medium body with sweetish malt with a light flowery whiff. No bitterness. Gee this is poor. 041008 MiP (9080), Sønderborg, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 2, 2008 Citrus and grassy aroma. Initially very crispy mouth feel that mildly lingers. Nice. This is the perfect example of a Lager. It is quality. One question I have is, Why? I mean its a pale lager and tastes for the most part just like all the others. Its something I’d expect a first time home brewer would try to do. This a quality beer made from quality methods and ingredients. However there is absolutely no twist. Its good though. jason (1621), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 31, 2008 Pale gold in color with a faint malty aroma. The thin head lingered for a while. Relatively smooth mouthfeel. Somewhat sweet on the tongue with rice-like aftertaste. I look forward to the re-opening of the brewery. ILoveNewBeer (113), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
