RblWthACoz (959), Brooklyn, New York, USA Feb 12, 2008 Pours a slightly fogged straw gold with a minimal white head. Nose is like roasted malts with a sweet tone to it. Flavor has a roasted edge to it, but it just doesn’t seem clean at all. Pretty uneven and out of balance. I don’t like it. Feel is standard. I can’t really say this is that drinkable.
pumpmaster (253), Florida, USA Jun 29, 2008 12 ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine Fort Lauderdale, FL for $1.49 Nothing special. bleeng (261), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA Jun 24, 2008 12oz bottle. Dark yellow, very carbonated, no head. Nose is musty, grainy, no hint of hops. Taste is a bit malty, medicinal, roast (?), quite funky, stale? Drink this very cold or not at all. They need to start using Mississippi River water again to give this some flavor of the bayou... joekfsu (111), Boardman, Ohio, USA Jun 22, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a nearly clear gold with 2-3 cm of foamy white head, quickly diminishing. Aroma of sweet malts. Initial flavor is light and sweet, no real definitive flavor. Aftertaste is mildly dry and long lasting. Light body, light carbonation, light lacing, and no alcohol presence noted. Overall, anyone could drink this if other better beers weren’t around. KDorgan12 (151), Memphis, Tennessee, USA Jun 16, 2008 Bottle-New Orleans. Shallow head with subtle hop aroma. Very smooth palate with pleasant sweetness. Finishes crisp and dry. Perfect beer on a hot New Orleans afternoon. EithCubes (1755), Indiana, USA Jun 10, 2008 Bottle. This one brewed in Wisconsin. Slightly skunky nose, cloying creamed corn and honey. Pale clear yellow pour with a short soapy white head. Very sharp, crisp taste with an acidic, slightly bready graininess. Dries out a bit, which is nice. Medium body. Fizzy, dirty mess.
