| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 16, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours dark mahogany color with beige head. The aroma is dark toast, caramel, toffee, some burnt notes. The flavor is roasty-toasty, with a caramel malt sweetness behind it. There is some distinct raisin, as well as a general scorched quality. The balance between the sweet malts and the burnt bitterness is interesting. It leaves a sort of chocolatey aftertaste, unlike the taste in the mouth. Not outstanding, but drinkable. faroeviking (6126), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
