The color was amber with a thin, fizzy, offwhite head. The aroma was sweet with a good amount of spice. The flavor was spicy, sweet, and dirty. The palate was average and the finish, sweet and spicy.

Thanks to Patrick for this taster--Poured a burnished amber-brown body with a medium whitish head. Sweet, caramel, roasted malt nose. Flavor slightly bitter and a little thin. Lots of roastiness, but overall just whatever.

Bottle; pours an amber tinted brown with off white head. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt. Palate was a bit watery. Flavor was not as roasted as I would have thought. Not great for the style.

Pours a dark brown with small tan head. Aroma is sweet malt. Flavor is roasted malt but not as deep as other schwarzbiers I’ve tried. A bit watery. Not bad all in all just not the best.

Bottle (12oz). Clear deep amber, average creamy tan head. Roast grain/caramel malt aroma with herbal and mild cocoa notes. Taste is mostly honey/clover sweetness, a little roasty, with grassy bitterness - very fizzy mouthfeel, leaves a lightly soapy aftertaste.

Bottled. It was probably an average schwarzbier, nothing special. Nice reddish brown colour with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and a little chocolate. Flavour of coffee and smoke but a little thin. Decent.

...bottle. This beer isn’t that great, but drinkable. I don’t see what the big deal is on this one. Slight roasted flavor, slight hops. Nothing special, buy something else if you are looking for a good beer.

bottle into glass. not much of an aroma. ports dark coppery red. taste at first is of canned beer, that metallic flavor. a strong bitterness overwhelms the pallette, with just a little hoppy coffee flavor in the background. was ok aside from the can flavor, but not a repeat purchase.
