Bottle. A very boring dark lager. Sweet and caramelly, with a slightly stale, dull mouthfeel. Not very much happening it has to be said, but i wasn’t expecting a whole lot to begin with.

The flavor and color are great! Very good body and a bit of a sweet flavor. My bar only stays open when it is in stock. Definitely a blue ribbon Americana Beer. Call me I NEED MORE!!!

A Mes rate: Bottle from the offy over the road from Lowlander. One of Sim’s random drunk purchases. Was expecting this to be awful but its actually not bad. Malty chocolate nose. Lovely dark red brown colour, tan head that sadly departed all too quickly. Flavour is slightly inky with some cardboard and a slight sweet smokey note. Not so much as a finish, more of a vanishing. Where did it go?

Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. Clear, dark brown, with a beige head. Roasted aroma with some chocolate and mocha. The flavor is quite wead, with roasted malt, chocolate and some coffee. Thin and watery body. Starts good, ends boring. (060826)

Bottle @ Kookfest. Charred smokey roast and mild malts. Despite a few pleasant flavours didnt really do much for me.

Love it. Has the makings of a dessert beer without being terribly overt with its flavors. It strikes an easily enjoyable balance. Highly recomended.
