Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. Clear, dark brown, with a beige head. Roasted aroma with some chocolate and mocha. The flavor is quite wead, with roasted malt, chocolate and some coffee. Thin and watery body. Starts good, ends boring. (060826)

Bottle @ Kookfest. Charred smokey roast and mild malts. Despite a few pleasant flavours didnt really do much for me.

Love it. Has the makings of a dessert beer without being terribly overt with its flavors. It strikes an easily enjoyable balance. Highly recomended.

RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. Dark brown colour. Malty sweet aroma with notes of vomit. Unpleasant. Sweetish moderately malty flavour with nothing to delight you. Pass.

Thanks crwills. It was past due, the brewery is shut down owing to recovery. Some oily additive to a weak lager, Thought it was a shwartzbier. Some roast, cheap booze aroma, carmel, lighter mouthfeel, but quaffable. Won’t be sampling the rest of the brewery line.

Bottle at Kookfest 06. Dark brown, dark beige head. Sourish malt aroma, bit oily. It’s ok, bit like a porter/old ale.

Bottled. Ruby red colour, small brownish head. Aroma is plum, spices and hops. Flavour is plum and roast. No real finish nor aftertaste, leaves it quite watery and empty. Quite "lightweight" Scwartzbier.
