Sep 17, 2005 Dark lager with a quickly fading tan head. Roasty with a strong sense of molasses, especially in the taste. It’s a little thin on the palate and has a dry, somewhat hoppy finish.

Sep 9, 2005 Sampled from bottle. Pours a clear, dark chocolate brown with a thin tan head. Both the aroma and flavor feature toast and coffee. Balanced with a dry finish. Medium-bodied and lightly carbonated. Simple and easy to drink."

Sep 3, 2005 Bottle poured a translucent brownish black with a brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, and a bit of a burnt vegtable smell. Flavors of burnt coffee, and a faint bit of citrus. Overall a fairly boring beer.

Sep 2, 2005 Somewhat lactic, berry-like aroma with some charred grains and vegetal notes. Deep, dark brown with fair tan head that lasts well. Caramel and burnt malt flavours with some vegetal notes and berry-like fruitiness. Seems to have a fair bit going on but at the same time feels somehow flat. Medium body with low carbonation. Bottle.
