Pours dark brown/ ruby with an average cream colored head. Fruity, plum-like aroma. Taste is malty and also plum-like. Long lasting, sweet aftertaste. This is my first schwarzbier, but the style seems to be enjoyable.

What a nice dark beer it is to drink. The beerlabel gives an idea of the name of the beer.

Pours dark brown, but transparent with smallish tan head. Nose has a flowery hop and caramel malt aroma. Flavor is similar, but perhaps slightly thinner, than one would expect. Some burnt taste. Sort of watery.

Wash down 4 dozen oysters with this gris-gris juice at Uglesich’s in NO/LA and then come back and tell me this is a 42 percentile beer. NOW!

Pours a dark brown with very little head. Taste starts off with a nutmeg taste and finishes off with hints of chocolate. A great beer for this time of the year.

Dark, with a nice brown head. Aroma is creamy and nutty, fruity, malty, with chocolate and coffee. Mila flavor from sweet fruits, nuts, licorice and toffee. Mild finish.

The bouquet was OK but not that great. It did have a slight malty/roasted nose. My first sip I started thinking "hey, this is gonna be good". It started with a nice malty flavor, rich, almost licorice like. BUT that faded very quickly to a bad metallic like finish that really stood out. I let it warm up a bit to see if the malt would dominate, but all I kept tasting was the horrible metallic flavor.

Nice dark amber, brownish head. Aroma from chocolate with coffee notes. Malty and some exotic fruits. Flavor brings fruit and licorice, malty and with a mild finish.
