Poured a dark brown that looked like cyprus water from the bayou. Thin biege head that didn’t last. Wood, caramel, dark malts, and spice on the nose. Roasted flavor with darl chocolate, wood, and spice on the tongue. Mild dry finish. Not a bad beer. A pretty good beer for the style.

Dark brown, slightly transparent. Aroma of molasses, caramel, and spices (cloves). Flavor is sweet, spicy, and malty, with some roastiness coming through in the finish. Lighter bodied than I would have expected, but overall, a good brew.

Not bad, little sweet, little spicy and acidic, but good. I actually drank this one straight out of the bottle because my buddy’s girlfriend had no freakin’ glasses$#%&! Might have to dry again.

Dark brown with a decent tan head. Nose is of malt and molasses. Flavor is bitter and a bit toasty. Palate is dry and carbonated. The Crimson Voodoo Ale is the better brew.

Ruddy-brown body with significant carbonation and a soft light tan head. Sweet malty nose with a hint of molasses. Toasted, sweet malt flavor with some fruitiness, medium acidity and low bitterness. Oily mouthfeel.

Dark black in color. Very fruitty smell. Flavor is slighty spicy but dominated by fruitness. Cool name, not very good beer.

Nice dark brown/black/red color. Nothing special, nothing horrible. Pretty good with spicy stuff (my other favorite thing)
