Nice 1/4 inch lasting head, dark amber/light ruby coloration. Malty aroma. Bitter coffee taste, thin feel. Nothing special, nothing horrible. Worth a one time try, but that is all.

Light brown amberish color with funky chocolate like aroma and nice tan head. Light acidic, earth, coffee taste that doesn't make for such a good combination. Mouthfeel is thin with more acid taste. Finish is also a bit light and mellow sweet.

Aroma of malts and hard spice, very acidic. Very dark in color. Flavor is burnt american beer. Seems like a gimic to me.

Pours gorgeous, dark brown, with amber cutting through up to the light. Nice head and remaining lace,althrough the glass all the way down. Smells of slight malt and hops and a slight roast smell but not a very large nose. Taste was mineral like with a slight malt middle, very caramel and sweet, finishing fairly dry. Wished it would be a bit more brave, with the roasty tones. Very light body and very bland taste to boot, the color very deceiving, this IS a beautiful looking beer, promises a big taste but just doesn't deliver.

Deep reddish brown with a medium sized head. Nose is malty and caramel. Flavour is slightly sweet, lightly hopped and dry. Pretty good beer.

Pours dark amber with a small head. Aroma is malty with cherries and chocolate. Flavor is bland, a little sweet with not much hops. Almost no finish and a dry aftertaste that is not really pleasant. Not very good

Strangely reminds me of Abita's Turbodog in color and aroma. The most noticable trait of this beer is that it has very weak taste; the carbonation is the most noticable aspect in the mouthfeel. If they worked up the very good character they have in this beer to where it came out more, I feel it would be a solid beer. The weak tastes are similar to a porter or a stout, that of chocolate, malt, and some fruity flavors. Nice touch, but could be considerably better. I see potential in this beer as a session beer as well due to its drinkability.

Some hints of chocolate, cherries, malt and is slightly sweet. Watery and fizzy, with not too much flavor in the finish. Drinkable but not very memorable.
