Poured brown with a white head. Not much of an aroma. Some sweet malt. Chocolate and fruit flavors are pretty dominant.

Nice frothy light tan head sitting atop a nearly black beer. Sweet malty aroma, hints of caramel, banana and dark fruits. Flavor follows the caramel coffee route with out really leaning one way or another. Flavor is thin and watered down but not in a bad way. Somewhat frothy carbonated finish, no bitterness. Pretty solid beer but nothing real extraordinary about it.

Pours a dark amber with a white head. Aroma was a little corny malt. Flavor is lightly malty, toasted(burnt), very light and not real pleasant.

This beer was a very dark amber, prolly one shade away from black. There was very little head. Don’t let the darkness fool you, this beer was very thin. Very watery, almost no thickness. The flavor was alright, some hints of malty caramel, maybe some chocolate. Not the best beer I’ve ever had, but glad I tried it.

Aroma: Dark malt aroma with some hops and earthy tones.
Appearance: Dark Brown in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Nice malt flavor with some hops and earthy flavors. They did come off light lagery and off.
Palate: Dry malty finish, with a light Mouthfeel.
Overall: It was much better than the light lager this was decent but not my style.

This is a blast from the past. The last time I drank this, I was probably underage and thought this was a dark beer. Maybe 1997? Pours clear dark amber brown; definitely not black. Thick off-white head and great lacing. Decent looking beer, for sure. Malty and sweet and quite metallic. Some creamy/sour flavors as well. Watery/metallic palate. I’m wondering if I’m giving this a few extra points out of reminiscence.
