BeerFanDan17 (397), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Jun 13, 2008 Bottle on Decatur St. in New Orleans. Flavor was malty and almost like a Porter. Nice and smooth.
Narnad (111), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA Oct 9, 2008 A great dark brown color pours from the bottle with a small off white head and has a low carbonation. Aroma is caramel malt and a slight molasses scent. Beer has a very sweet brown ale flavor and ends with a nice weak bitterness. A pretty refreshing and tasty beer. Trooper11 (451), Suffolk, Virginia, USA Oct 8, 2008 Brown brew with llarge ight brown head. Very light corn aroma. Taste is bitter nutty, faint hint of caramel. Kind of bland halfonit (57), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA Oct 4, 2008 A real nice brown color and it smells nutty with a little smoked malt. Has a good palate feel in the mouth but a heck of a bite. After a couple of these it becomes real smooth. Actually not too bad at all. junon (144), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Oct 2, 2008 Hmm. Nutty. Mildy roasted/smokey notes. I dunno what the hell a Schwarzbier is but I’d probably identify this as a brown ale if I had to guess in a pub. Not bad at all. KimJohansen (4296), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 9, 2008 Dark brown with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and butter notes. Sweet flavour that goes same way with breadish notes.
