Reddish brown, large creamy head and good lacing. Nose is malty. Lightly hopped and malty with a dry finish. Not as good as the Blackened.

Not very good at all... Skunked bottle? Had carbonation, but a head did not form. Smokey taste, somewhat dry.

Thin but dense head from the pour. Reduces to a nice thin foam. I really like the aroma. Sweet and malty with some apricots and a little bit of bread. Color is a nice dark amber/brown. Not much red/crimson. Flavor is a little thin and metallic with a biting bitterness. Some malts but just a very sharp flavor that is not that pleasing. Finish is dry and bitter. A beer that starts off with a great look and aroma but fails in the flavor department.

Some sweet fruit, caramel, and metal in the taste. Watery and thin, with no aftertaste. The Blackened Voodoo is slightly better altogether.

Pours red/amber. A malty aroma. The flavor is sweet and malty. A little acid and alcohol in the finish. OK flavor, but somewhat weak and watery.

mostly malt in the aroma; dark reddish-brown with a thin tan head; the taste is a combination of sweetness and hops, with hops dominating the finish

This beer pours with a deep reddish body toped by a thin off-white head with some lacong left on the glass. The weak aroma is slightly sweet and malty, but lacks any real character. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty with a slight hoppiness and a slight metallic note. Light bodied and watery.

Very pretty beer and I actually must say I love the artwork on the bottle. Its been a very long time since I've seen dixie beers, I don't even know if they're still producing this beer. It will be a loss of a bad thing if it is gone.
