creamy, caramel, chocolaty in the nose, darker red yellow head good carbonation nice lacing on the glass. Medium to thin bodied. Starts out creamy hoppy and slightly bitter. Finishes rusty almost tastes like iron. Leaves a lot to be desired and not too easily drinkable

Crystal clear mohogany ale. Small, creamy, off white head. The nose is of caramel, beef bouillon and plums. Very weak, thin flavor. Watery with very subtle hints of plum and caramel. Decently balanced, at least. Barely medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Short, astringent, lemony finish.

Poured a nice reddish amber. Very subtle flavor ... hardly noticable, especially when very cold. Refreshing, but not a great beer. Decent.

Great blood color, the aroma definitely from hops like a Bell's Amber but does not have a hoppy taste. It does almost have a slight hint of cheese smell. Very discreet flavor. Definite metallic aftertaste. Not too bad for a microbrew but the name is definitely better than the beer.

not really red. Not much to this beer. It's a bit hoppy, not much flavor in the malts. Not too bad but not to good.

Reddish brown in color. The malty aroma led to the overly sweet, malt taste. Not a whole lot to it, not very complex. A slightly acidic finish.

Dark amber in colour with red highlights and almost no head. Sweet citrus smell with plentiful malt in the aroma. Light-bodied...pretty watery with tastes of malt and some bitterness left over. A decent red , definately not one of my favourite styles, but acceptable! I bought this 12 ounce bottle from Total Beverage in Thornton (Denver), Colorado.
