Aroma a bit toasty, somewhat sour. Pours a rootbeer/cola color, slight but lasting head. Flavor is not what I'd consider balanced, with far more malt flavors than hops. A bit of chocolate malt is detectable. Much better than Killian's, I must say.

Lookd like a cherry coke, but with less carbonation. Tastes of dark roast malt, coffee, and hops. A little more carbonation would help mouthfeel. Not a great beer, but better than I expected after reading the other reviews.

Tastes like a light amber ale. Really, rather bland and relatively uncarbonated to the taste.

On the lighter side of brown with a little bit of a raspberry hue. Quickly diminishing head. Slightly creamy. Not much carbonation to speak of. The aroma is similar to that of a nut brown, as in nutty and brown ale-y. Fairly bland, with a little bit a of a metallic after-taste.

A hell of a lot better than Pete's red rush, but still mediocre fare. Some nicer roasted and pea-nutty flavors in there, all up front - the thing fades toward stomach acid after awhile.

It actually tasted red to me. Can't really explain it but, I thought it was OK.
